Jennette’s Pier at Nags Head, Outer Banks, NC
In so many ways, America begins on North Carolina's Outer Banks! The land of beginnings, some call it. These romantic waves and sandy barrier islands are a special place where time seems to slow. Where breathtaking beauty envelops the spirit and sets it soaring.
Jennette's Pier, the oldest fishing pier on North Carolina's Outer Banks, was built in 1939. This historic ocean landmark has weathered dozens of hurricanes and nor'easters over the past six decades.
